When do the tours run from?

Tours start in early March and run until the end of October.Book online for 2010 season & receive a 10% online discount.

How long does the tour take?

The tour starts at 10.00 am from your accomodation or O'Connor's bar High Street Killarney and finishes at 16.00 approx. Times maybe subject to change or cancellation due to weather conditions

Are there bike rental shops close by?

2 Bike shops within minutes of the town centre & Muckross Road - open 9.30am -6.00 pm approx €15.00pp for full-day. 

What type of clothing is advisable?

Comfortable shoes are a must especially if you intend to walk the beautiful Gap of Dunloe. Rain gear is also advisable as inclement weather is often near at hand.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes there are many car parks within a short walking distance of O'Connor's Pub. These are mainly ticket based Car Parks - so the local advice would be to park near the St Mary's Cathedral - that has the best daily rate.

Will you collect me from my accommodation?

Yes we will - please advise us of your accommodation when booking and we will endeavour to collect you and drop you back afterwards.

Is there alternatives to walking the Gap of Dunloe?

There are 2 main alternatives to walking the Gap of Dunloe - via Jarvey and Pony Ride. Both at an additional cost to that of the tour.

Will the tour run if the weather is poor?

The tour will run if the weather is not windy or stormy - unfortunately while we can guarantee you a great experience we cannot guarantee good weather. If you're around Killarney for a few days we can move the tour to the next available day - Of course we can also refund you your money (Please note no show - no monies will be refunded).
